Piwik – Web Statistics

The open-source software, Piwik, is used for the statistical evaluation of visitor access to this website.

Piwik uses cookies that are saved on the visitor’s computer and enable the analysis of their use of the site. The information generated by the cookies about how the website is used, is transferred and saved to an Aperto GmbH server in Germany. In Piwik, IP addresses are saved without the last tuple. This makes it known which net a request originated from but not which computer. The collected data will under no circumstance be used in conjunction with personal details or shared. Information that is no longer used for web analysis will be immediately deleted.


When visitors subscribe to a newsletter, they make personal information (e.g. their name and email address) available to us and agree to the storage and use of these data through the clicking of the ‘Subscribe’ button.

These details will be saved by Aperto GmbH on a secure server in Germany, and will be used for the sending of newsletters. The information will not be published or given to third parties.
