The Aperto university experts were able to impress the Universität Leipzig in a pitch and are now responsible for relaunch of the highly respected university’s central internet presence. Amongst other things, the Berlin digital agency has been tasked with the rework of their corporate design as well as the conceptualisation of a responsive, accessible, as well as a visual- and content-optimised digital presence. The collaboration started at the beginning of January 2017.
The goal of the relaunch was to redefine the Universität Leipzig brand and to strengthen their profile. A website is one of the most important channels for the outgoing communication of a university, and serves as a guide to the multi-faceted range of studies. Thanks to a modular system, the new graphic concept will be applied to the central image of the faculties and institutions. A further goal is the connection of all online communication, with the help of a content guide as well as an editorial and training concept that makes a practical workflow available for updating content.
“A relaunch that comes with a long term financial and personnel investment, and a high expectation of success, is an exceptional challenge for a university of our size and focus. It is for this reason that we chose an experienced and renowned partner, who also offers collaboration with our alumni,” says Dr. Madlen Mammen, Head of the University Communications Staff.
As an agency, Aperto has a wealth of experience in digital communications for universities and, in the last few years, was able to realise digital projects and marketing measures for the RWTH Aachen, LMU München, Universität Basel, Hochschule Kaiserslautern, TU Dresden and the University of Stuttgart, amongst others. The team works on various projects for universities and scientific institutions and even runs a blog on the subject: http://www.hochschulmarketing-magazin.de
