Aperto reinforces its leadership team with new hires. Christian Jung was previously Managing Director of the BBDO agency Proximity and as Executive Director at Aperto, will be overseeing the transformation to a completely agile working environment and the agency-wide building up of interdisciplinary teams. Additionally, he will also drive the development of innovative, user-orientated services based on IBM cloud technologies. Stefan Bessing comes from T-Systems MMS and as Executive Director at Aperto, he will be advancing the future-orientated expansion of the technology portfolio as well as intensifying the cooperation with IBM and helping to shape the agency’s growth.
Christian Jung will start on 1 May 2017. Stefan Bessing has been on on board since 1 April. Both new hires reflect the positive new business and growth of the Berlin digital agency since its acquisition by IBM.
Christian Jung (51) is a specialist in the development of digital product innovations and and an expert in agile working. In 1999 he joined the digital agency SinnerSchrader, moving to CMS provider CoreMedia in 2005. He subsequently worked 8 years as a freelance concept developer and consultant. From 2013 to 2016 Christian Jung was the Managing Director and Chief Creative Technologist at BBDO agency Proximity. With over 18 years experience in the development and design of mobile and web-based applications, he brings with him the know-how for combining the disciplines of technology and design at the highest level, building interdisciplinary teams and solving challenges through agile development processes.
Stefan Bessing (48) brings with him almost 20 years of management experience and internet business expertise. In 1999 he was already entrusted with complex web projects as a senior project manager at Pixelpark. In 2003 he moved to T-Systems MMS, with diverse management roles including in sales and as a business unit director responsible for client acquisition, efficiency and the strategic positioning of the department. In this capacity he has always sought a connection between business, user experience and technology, for example in the building of a mobile unit.
