For the redesign of the website of the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg) https://www.bmvg.de/en, Aperto wins bronze at the Econ Awards 2018 in the category "Digital Media: Websites".
Aperto developed a new content-strategically oriented platform for the Federal Ministry of Defence: Citizen-oriented, clear, visually powerful - politics to touch.
The aim was to explain the political actions of the Ministry of Defence, to convey backgrounds and values and to provide the context for current developments. In this way, confidence in the actions of political actors is to be strengthened and the desire for politics is to be whetted. Based on a new content strategy, 3,993 pages were inventoried, 150 newly created and 500 migrated. The result is an exclusive digital content experience: responsive design, generous, high-quality images, videos and interactive, narrative elements such as maps and infographics add value to the core themes.
The jury justified its choice with the "clear user guidance" and emphasized the service orientation of the website. The newly designed website has an "informative" and "image-building effect for the Federal Ministry of Defence". The complete reasons given by the jury can be found here (German only).
Aperto has carried out the relaunch in 2017. In 2018, Aperto was also awarded the contract for the relaunch of the websites of the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg), including the German Armed Forces, in a multi-stage public award procedure at the IT service provider BWI GmbH.
