Aperto received two awards for projects at the largest creative award ceremony in the German-speaking region, the ADC competition. In the website category, the Berlin-based digital agency, part of the global IBM iX studio network, won a Bronze "Nail" for the relaunch of the German Armed Forces web portal. In the "Digital Services & Products” category, HealthAdvisor, an AI-based stroke prevention app, impressed the renowned jury of the Art Directors Club (ADC) Germany, therefore also winning a Bronze Nail.
German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) – Website Relaunch
The agency received the ADC Bronze Nail in the ‘Digital Communication > Website’ category for its work on the new bundeswehr.de —the only awarded project in the website category! With this work, Aperto’s team have once again proven its expertise in the public sector. The German Armed Forces, alongside the bundeswehr.de, are coming out from under digital cover user-friendly, interactive, and future-proof. Commissioned by BWI GmbH, the new portal was created as a central content hub as the basis for further development. All this with a new look and up-to-date technology based on the CoreMedia content management system.

HealthAdvisor – stroke prevention app
The HealthAdvisor app won a Bronze Nail in the “Digital Products & Services > App/Mobile Application” category. HealthAdvisor is an AI-based service developed by Aperto in collaboration with AI4medicine. With the help of the app, the risk of stroke, the second most common cause of death and the reason for multiple impairments, can be drastically reduced. Users are shown targets and individual measures that contribute to stroke prevention. In this way, the app helps to save lives, reduce healthcare costs and advance science by providing researchers with additional data for studies.
