Aperto creates a new digital presence for the global mobility solution provider

Under the motto 'Together we move', Bombardier Transportation is repositioning itself as a brand. Together with Aperto, an IBM company, one of the world's leading mobility providers has also completely revised its digital communications. On the new website www.rail.bombardier.com, Bombardier positions itself as a visionary industry leader in rail technology.

The Berlin-based digital agency Aperto was responsible for the strategic development of the digital B2B marketing platform, user experience and interface design. In addition, Aperto provided support with content strategy and content migration.

The focus is on digital product presentation. The new www.rail.bombardier.com functions as a hub for the entire product portfolio of the global group's transportation division. Because: even in long-term B2B marketing processes for trains and tram systems, for example, a high-quality, interactive brand experience is becoming increasingly important in order to convince all stakeholders of a procurement decision of Bombardier's capabilities.

A new solutions & technologies section, a digital newsroom for media professionals, new content marketing formats and, of course, a comprehensive, digital company profile enables Bombardier Transportation to position itself as an industry leader that combines technology with empathy and continuously breaks new ground in sustainable mobility.

Bombardier Transportation offers the rail industry’s broadest portfolio and operates with its products and services in over 60 countries. The product range includes the entire spectrum ranging from trains to sub-systems and signalling to complete turnkey transport systems, e-mobility technology and data-driven maintenance services. Over the coming decades, Bombardier solutions will make a major contribution to the further development of cities around the world.

Digital B2B marketing and international corporate communications are two of the focal capabilities of Aperto, the Berlin location of the global IBM iX agency network. With clients such as Airbus, Siemens and Volkswagen and over 400 strategists, designers and developers, Aperto has extensive know-how in managing complex projects with a variety of stakeholders and partners.

The digital agency Valtech was responsible for the technical implementation of the Bombardier Transportation website.
