Berlin digital agency Aperto has organised a career day on 12 October for female students and graduates from the computer science, media informatics and business informatics sectors. In addition to an agency tour and Q & A, from 2pm there will be information and workshops on the subject of entry-level employment and development opportunities, with the chance to meet and mingle afterwards. You can register on our website: www.aperto.com/it-girl or via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Yeter Cetinkilic, Head of Human Resources at Aperto: “The technology unit at Aperto is 22% female, which is great — but we are hoping for even more female IT-power! This is why our IT-Girls’ Day is going into its third edition, in order to inspire students and graduates to work in the agency sector — and for Aperto. The last events were so successful that six previous IT-Girls are now co-workers.”
In the workshops, front- and backend development, technical project management, quality assurance and lean service design are introduced, and insights given into working together in interdisciplinary teams. At the end of the day there is a group dinner and a viewing of the film Debugging the Gender Gap. The film marks the beginning of the Ada Lovelace Festival and is presented by IBM. Since April 2016 Aperto is part of IBM iX, one of the biggest digital agencies in the world.
