Approximately 150 healthcare facilities of varying profiles, fall under Asklepios’ umbrella. Now, together with Aperto, the group is taking the next step in healthcare marketing and integrated communications. With a central content management system (Magnolia CMS), fresh design, modular content and intelligent digital services, the Berlin-based digital agency has provided the parent company (www.asklepios.com) and its subsidiaries with a strong online image.
As well as maximum, basic, standard and main hospitals, the Asklepios group also counts speciality hospitals with particular areas of focus, such as rehabilitation centres and treatment facilities. Previously, every online service was developed and maintained independently of one another. In future, all patients and clinic personnel will benefit from an improved and consistent user experience, as well as a high quality digital design that authentically communicates the brand’s expertise.
With their new digital presence, Asklepios’ state-of-the-art medical expertise combined with personal assistance and the best local treatment, is made both more visible and more accessible. Each facility is able to present their individual profile, thereby increasing Asklepios’ regional prominence and allowing the clinic services to be precisely positioned for patients, as well as for medical professionals and potential employees. Already in 2015 the pilot location Hamburg-Harburg went online. 65 further clinic websites have gone live since, with more still to come.
“Our core target audience, the patients, were central to our relaunch. With our new websites one is able to inform oneself easily and thoroughly about the relevant range of services and hospital stay, with our new digital services enabling one to find a particular specialist or even book an appointment directly,” says Rune Hoffman, the group’s Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing.
Asklepios provides patients with all the relevant information digitally before, during and after their hospital stay. Doctors, visiting experts, job applicants, partner institutions and research bodies are also kept up to date with current news, event dates, information about patient safety, quality management, social responsibility and a career section.
