Awakening interest in political issues and communicating content more directly to one’s citizen is more relevant than ever. With their new website for the Federal Ministry of Defence (BMVg), Aperto is creating a modern Citizen Experience that focuses comprehensively on the Ministry's key topics and work priorities.

The new BMVg website, with its contemporary design and new content orientation, will become the central information platform for German security and defence policy. The aim is to communicate the Ministry's policy in a transparent and accessible manner for all citizens. The focus is on the BMVg's main topics and areas of action, which are presented prominently and powerfully on the homepage. The online presence thus becomes the first point of contact for news and questions about defence and peacekeeping in Germany.

The new, modern design and  optimized User Experience (UX)  not only create a context suited to media reporting and dialogue, but also enable all users to better navigate current events. With its responsive design and Micro UX, the new bmvg.de also offers a real Joy of Use on the move.

A focus on Ministry of Defence topics

On the basis of the jointly developed content strategy, a new tonality concept, topic structure and content formats were developed. The site now gives users a clear orientation on the government’s security and defence policy guidelines in a high-quality editorial style with large imagery, videos and interactive elements.
