New look, new user experience

We took a look at the old EDEKA app and thought: “This could be better!”

And, of course, it could be. We gave the app a makeover, designing the entire look and feel in a modern way.

At the same time, we streamlined the app in the right places, so only those functions that a client really needs when shopping remained.

The crux of the new app is the user’s own favourite EDEKA store. Is the EDEKA on the corner still open? Which special offers are currently on? Can I redeem my coupons there?

Now the user can find all the answers at a single glance. 

Part of the new app is payment service Valuephone’s SDK (Software Development Kit) which includes the app’s payment processes. 

But the new EDEKA app doesn’t just look good and give important information at a glance, it’s also easy to use. Add specials to the digital shopping list: one tap. Add recipe ingredients from the gigantic database to the digital shopping list: one tap. Redeem coupons: one tap. Pay with the app at the checkout counter: child’s play. Shopping has never been this easy.

The new-look EDEKA app is now available at the fresh section of the iOS and Android app stores.
