Whoever is on the go and wants to access EDEKA stores, specials and more — if they don’t use the app — will head to the company website. Our goal was to optimise the website for mobile use, bringing the stores closer to the customers.
The mobilisation concentrated on the store search, specials, recipe and product sections. At any time, customers are able to gain information about the specials or the wide product range, using it as inspiration or for help in making purchase decisions — even while they’re shopping.
A shopping list is also integrated in order to store all the displayed products, specials and recipe ingredients for your next shopping trip. Further mobile-optimised and interactive content relates to the topics of health and nutrition.
Using an adaptive design approach and individual templates, the web content of EDEKA was prepared for various devices and display sizes and optimised for on-the-go browsing.
